Every year I plant tomato seeds (no kidding, eh?) and then am concerned that they won't come up.  Every year I end up with WAY too many tomato plants because I was afraid that some of those seeds - little miracles of nature - weren't going to do their job.  And they almost all do.  Every time.

Well, today the very first seedlings are sticking their little heads out of the dirt.  And my faith in the power of Nature is affirmed yet again.

The egg cartons seem to be working just fine, by the way - except they need a little more watering as they dry out pretty quickly.
